Katch I.D. is a boutique residential interiors studio founded in 2007 by sisters Steph and Pamela Katch. Their tailored interiors are luxurious and informal, deftly built up through a focus on elegant proportion, a refined palette of materials, and harmonious selection of modern and antique furnishings. The firm’s classic, stylish spaces resonate with a palpable sense of ease and tranquility that stands the test of time.

In addition to their interiors, the Katch sisters have also designed an innovative collection of original furniture and accessories which, when introduced in 2009, immediately caught the attention of interior designers and the press alike, from The New York Times and Interior Design Magazine to Dwell and Remodelista.

Steph graduated from Parsons The New School for Design and received her NCIDQ license in 2000. She began her career at Naomi Leff & Associates, and went on to become the Vice President of the Residential Interiors firm Pembrooke and Ives in New York City.

Pamela dropped into the profession to pursue her lifelong interest in Interior Design after leaving her job as a Creative Director at Mediaworks, a multimedia firm in New York City. There, she directed award winning site specific installations for The Brooklyn Museum, Christies and the World Monuments Fund. Prior to that, Pamela was the Director of Marketing at Tiffany & Co.

The Katches are originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their firm is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
